Description

BDT- 1128 PLUS , a unique clear coating containing an EPA-approved antimicrobial formulation that helps to lower the bioburden to continuously protect the coating from the colonization of bacteria that causes mold, mildew, and fungus. The product is formulated to protect the coating from being degraded and deteriorated by colonization of microbes, prolonging the life of the coating, thus allowing the coating to remain molecularly bonded with and protect the substrate.

What sets BDT-1128 PLUS apart is its unique hydrophobic properties, which allow it to create a protective barrier on a wide range of surfaces, including ceramic tile, grout, wood, natural stone, concrete, and synthetic flooring materials. Its single-component solution cures at ambient temperatures, making it convenient and efficient.

Not only does BDT-1128 PLUS coating provide long-lasting protection, but it also forms a permanent bond with the surface, penetrating its substructure at a molecular level. This solid covalent bond ensures maximum adhesion and longevity.

BDT-1128 PLUS is ideal for high foot traffic areas such as community spaces, boats, boat docks, industrial spaces, forklift traffic, and government or commercial establishments. Its excellent UV inhibitor, high chemical resistance, and invulnerability to standard protocol cleaners make it a reliable solution for various environments. Additionally, our coatings contain an optical brightener, enabling easy verification of the presence and functionality of the antimicrobial disinfectant coating.

For added safety, BDT-1128 PLUS is available with non-slip additives for areas that require increased slip resistance. We also offer aggregate additives for marine applications above and below deck to withstand heavy weather conditions. Customers can choose between matte and semi-gloss finishes, depending on their requirements.
