BDT-1602, a Nano-Ceramic formulated dry film lubricant. This high-performance product is designed to reduce friction and heat build in engine components, ultimately improving performance. When applied to the inner surface of a cylinder wall or sleeve, BDT-1602 creates a covalent bond and fills the micro-pores and honing marks within the surface, resulting in reduced frictional drag of the piston and rings. Magnum XL is remarkable, as it adheres to almost all surfaces, such as metal, PVC, concrete, EPDM, wood, stucco, and sheetrock. However, it is important to note that Magnum XL is not recommended for application on surfaces such as Teflon, high-plasticized types of vinyl, polyethylene, and silicone rubber, although the use of our primer BDT-520 can make it possible to apply Magnum XL even on polyethylene and silicone surfaces.
